You can ask us to delete your account and the data that goes with it at any time. For a Shopify app, see Shopify apps below.
How to ask
- Email us from your account's address (see Contact below) with the subject Delete my account.
- We confirm the request from that email address, so nobody else can delete your account.
- We delete it within 30 days, usually much sooner, and tell you when it's done.
Before you ask
- Cancel any renewal first in Dashboard → Orders → Billing, so you are not charged again.
- Deleting the account switches off every licence key on it. Pro plugins on your sites stop receiving updates and their Pro features switch off. The free plugins keep working.
- Download any plugin zips you want to keep.
What is deleted
- Your account (email and password).
- Your licences, the sites you added and their check history.
- Your support tickets and their attachments.
- Your download history.
What we must keep
- Orders and invoices, as tax law requires (usually up to 7 years). Polar keeps its own payment records as merchant of record.
- Records needed to prevent fraud or settle a dispute, only as long as needed.
Other requests
You can also ask for a copy of your data, or to correct it, the same way. We answer within 30 days.
Data on your own site
Leads, popups, carts and bundles live in your own WordPress database, not with us. To remove them, delete them in WordPress, or uninstall the plugin with its "delete data on uninstall" setting on.
Shopify apps
A Shopify app needs no Nanflows account, so there is no account to close. To delete your store's data:
- Uninstall the app in your Shopify admin, under Settings → Apps. Its access to your store ends at once.
- 48 hours later, Shopify asks us to delete your store's data, and we delete the store, its bundles, bundle sales, analytics and email log.
We keep only your store's address and the plan whose free trial it used, so each store gets one free trial. Shopify keeps its own billing records. To have the data deleted sooner, or to get a copy first, email us from your store's contact email.
The app holds no personal data about your shoppers, so a shopper's request to Shopify to see or erase their data needs nothing from us.
