Terms of service

These terms apply when you create an account on nanflows.com, buy a licence, or use the Pro versions of Nanflows plugins (Nanflows Popup, Nanflows Sliding Cart, Nanflows Bundles and any we add later). By buying or using them you agree to these terms.

Who you are buying from

Payments are handled by Polar, our merchant of record. Polar charges your card, adds sales tax or VAT where it applies, and sends your receipt and invoices. The plugins and this site are run by Nanflows.

Your account

  • Give a working email address. It is where receipts, licence and support messages go.
  • Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
  • One account can hold licences for every Nanflows plugin.

Free and Pro plugins

  • The free (Lite) plugins are on WordPress.org and can be used on any number of sites, without an account.
  • Pro plugins need the free plugin and an active licence key from your dashboard.

What a licence gives you

  • Use of Pro on the number of sites your plan allows. Each site you add in the dashboard uses one slot, including staging, local and test sites. Removing a site frees its slot.
  • Updates inside WordPress and email support while the plan is active.
  • When a plan ends or is not renewed, Pro stops receiving updates and its Pro features switch off. The free plugin keeps working and your content is not deleted.

Plans and renewals

  • Yearly and monthly plans renew automatically at the end of each period, at the price shown when you bought, unless you cancel first.
  • You can cancel a renewal at any time from Dashboard → Orders → Billing. Pro keeps working until the end of the period you already paid for.
  • Lifetime plans are paid once and do not renew.
  • Prices for new purchases can change. A price change for an existing renewal is announced by email before it applies.

Refunds

See Refunds and cancellation. In short: a first purchase can be refunded within 14 days; renewals are not refunded, but you can cancel before they are charged.

The software

  • The plugins are licensed under the GPL. The licence key controls access to updates, support and the Pro features on your sites, not your rights under the GPL.
  • Don't share your licence keys or resell access to them.
  • See Acceptable use for what the plugins and the site may not be used for.

Our responsibility

We test the plugins carefully, but they are provided "as is". Keep backups of your site. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost data, lost sales or indirect damage, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending an account

You can close your account at any time: see Delete your data. We may suspend licences or accounts that break these terms, such as shared keys, fraud or chargeback abuse.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Big changes are emailed to customers before they apply.
