How it works

Buy X Get Y links what the shopper buys to what they get. The “get” products can be the same as the “buy” products, the classic BOGO, or different ones, such as a free cap with two T-shirts. The discount on what they get goes from 1% to 100%, and 100% is free.

The cheapest “get” items are the ones discounted, so the offer is always fair. Shopify checks the price at checkout, and in the cart each item is its own line, with the discount shown on the “get” items.
